What does the tab "Diagnostics" say?
Did you try something of that:

1. starting the bf2.exe directly
2. launching the game in windowed mode with bf2hub
3. launching the game with fallback-resolution 800x600 with bf2hub

Yes I've tried everything short of uninstalling the game and reinstalling.
With that my main problem would be getting the game installed as
I no longer have a DVD re-writer everything is down load these days.

I was having great fun on your servers till I went win11. Am at my wits end.
I will find out what it is, it will just take time.

Hello Boomer, if you come back to this topic, I believe the issue is simple: when swapping the operating system you have lost the license codes for BF2, that were saved inside of the Windows 10 system ("windows registry").

Therefore all you need to do is downloading the BF2 Key Manager executable (don't worry, it's not a virus, but Microsoft SmartScreen will probably complain about it: if you get a popup by SmartScreen there's a fine print at the bottom where you can pick the "run anyway" option), generate a new set of keys by pressing the "Random" button (or type your own if you have it stored somewhere) and finally hit "Apply".

We have a TeamSpeak3 but it's rarely used, you can see it on the homepage; otherwise we hang out mostly on Discord, you can use Dionis' invite (@dionis I have corrected the link, what you posted was not a correct invite URL).
