Hey guys, just trying to get into this again and I'm having really bad fps in game, almost down to 10 frames. I've got a pretty decent PC that should more than handle this game a thousand times over in this day in age, so I know its not a spec issue as much as it may be a system optimization I have to do.
Any help you guys can find would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey there GhettoEwok, did you have the game installed on the PC before?
Perhaps you want to try trashing the /cache folder in Documents/Battlefield 2/mods/bf2
as well as trying to lower your video settings to the minimum, apply, and join a server:
the "shaders" will recreate, and the quality will be at the minimum: how much fps you get?
