Ok.

1) Can you open a command prompt / or go to "run" then type "cmd" and hit enter.
Then, type: ping voice.lost-soldiers.org
Hit Enter.

Then post your screenshot, here is mine:

(Auto resize: 368x1280px, png)

2) I just restarted the Ventrilo server, see if there's any change for you now anyway.

Ok, this is quite strange indeed, especially if you are able to connect fully to other Ventrilo Servers.

Maybe try uninstalling, deleting AppData Ventrilo folder completely as well in case it's left behind, restarting, running CCleaner if you have it. Then reinstalling and trying again.

We need to isolate the issue.

1) Switch off your PC

2) Go to your Modem and / or Router (if you have a separate modem and router), switch them or it off completely by disconnecting the main power cable. Give it 10-15 minutes before switching back on.

3) Try again

4) If it fails, and you have a modem + separate router setup, connect straight to the modem instead of PC -> Router -> Modem, go PC -> Modem.

5) Try again

This is probably just when you deleted the AppData folder, if you check now I bet the default.vet file is there. If not, re-install.

Another thing to try:

netsh winsock reset all

Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click All
Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run
as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a
confirmation, type the password, or click Allow/Continue.

Type in the following command:

netsh winsock reset all
