| Info/Description: | Summary Omnicide is the premier zombie co-op and singleplayer modification for BF2. This modification features an authentic zombie environment, with new and top-quality maps, weapons, skins, sounds, and chillingly authentic voice acting. In this modification you must think to survive and work with your teammates. It features two game modes: Survival, a new idea to BF2, where you and your comrades defend yourself until you are finally overcome by the zombies, and Escape, where you and your comrades fight to escape zombie hell.  Installation – download the file and unzip the contents (the Omnicide_Final folder) into your mods folder (the default location is C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\) so that you obtain this final directory path: C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\Omnicide_Final\ Inside the mod folder that you just copied there's also a shortcut which you can cut and paste on your Desktop. Playing To activate the mod you can either go through the usual way (main menu > community > custom games > omnicide_final > activate) or you can use the custom shortcut available inside the mod folder (if it does not work, make a new shortcut to BF2.exe and append these parameters in the target field: +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +modPath mods/Omnicide_Final +ignoreAsserts 1). Then to join the server either use the IP & Port listed on our homepage (scroll down to see the Custom Maps server in the list), or you can configure your game-mode filter and internet filters this way in order to see the server! If you have trouble installing this modification or patching it, feel free to contact S_h_a_r_k_93 either through the Forum or by using one of these channels. We are fond of playing this mod, especially during the Halloween period (example) |
