Almost every time a new map gets loaded, the game just gets disconnected from server and I have to reconnect. I don't know it it's true but I hear somewhere that if your computer loads too fast you get disconnected from server. If it is so... what can I do about it ? How do I fix it?

Alt-tab out of the game to slow down map loading.

Please answer the following questions for further diagnosis:

On which servers do you suffer this issue?

1) Does it happen only on LS servers or on other servers (like 2F4Y, Super@) as well?
2) Does it happen on all our LS rotation servers or is there a certain LS server where it happens? (Vehicle rotation, Special forces, Infantry rotation) #
Is there also one of our servers where it works fine without problems?
3) Does it happen on all maps or are there certain maps on which you have the issue? Are there other maps without problems?

Do you use the game copy from this website? Do you have changed anything in your game files? What are your system specifications?

Hi. I downloaded the game from a link I found on reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/Battlefield2/
I get disconnected on every single server that loads up a new map after the round ends( loads too fast ?). Once in a blue moon it doesn't kick me out but 90% of the time it does. I will try that alt-tab method and see if it works.

That is a confirmed workaround, yes. Also the issue tends to happen more often on PCs that have the game installed onto a Solid State Drive ... is that your case? Do you have a powerful computer?

Thank you for the informations collected so far.

My computer is 8 years old haha. Was pretty solid back in the day though, but yeah.. the game is installed on ssd. I will change it and see what happens.
