Yeah, that is not quite the same. Furthermore the player who pulled that one out was a really brilliant russian modder and developer ... I have no idea how to single-out or diminish any in-game sounds, sorry. unhappy

Only thing would be turning down the volume ... as when you're inside a Jet you can barely hear anything else, can't you? Removing the engine sound and being able to hear your surroundings while flying would give you an unfair advantage over the other players. amused

I have no idea of changing / modding / tweaking the game but just now as i was flying around oman i realised how much the sound of the aircraft got on my nerves and i thought i'd ask the bf2 heads on the forum if there is any way to delete the aircraft engine sound files from the game.

I have tinitus in my right ear so just a way of making it quieter in relation to the rest of the game would be a great help.

I remember on the revivebf2 forum someone wrote they had a way to stop the "enemy spotted" sound file being played more then once when the commander was spamming but that is not quite the same.

Can anyone help ?
