I used to have tremendous fun joining padding servers and killing as many as possible before i got kicked or banned, but i see no point in padding any more and thus no point in stopping players from doing it.
At least they could attract other players to the server.
Gerrywar was a good player who played often and did not cheat, now there is one less good player on LS servers, what difference would it make if his rank was padded ?

I cant find any mention of Gerrywar's punishment in the neighbouring thread, was it a permaban ?

With all possible respect, I think that the rule No Stat Padding (Immediate Permanent Ban), is excessive and unbalanced with other infringements certainly more serious and justified. You would lose consensus, players and maybe even donations. Dearest Dillmann, you've already made a discriminatory post against me, and it's not a good moderator, go ahead! who Controls who controls! If i come to a forum and claim prosa like "i am excellent in infantery" - but don't know how to reload a gun i will hopefully get a clear statement to that too.

Correct me if I am wrong here, but I believe that the stats have a bearing on rank, and if you are a high rank, you can overrule lower ranks to be commander .Therefore you have an advantage over them when applying. making stats padding " Unfair".

The important thing is that Gerrywar3 understands that we take stats padding (as well as the other major offences) very seriously; even though I'll second that the game is almost dead and that padding is meaningless nowadays, this doesn't make it right.

The purpose of the ban is also to teach you a lesson. If the banned player is smart enough to understand why he/she was banned, and has the brains to come here and sincerely apologize for his wrongdoings, I believe there is the possibility to start building again. (this of course depends on the offence; for instance, as this Forum board says, cheaters will never be unbanned).

Reading what Gerrywar3 says I can infer he has (at the very list) understood that our rules are not only here to make our Forum boards prettier, but they are enforced in-game as well. This is why I am feeling kind enough to turn this ban appeal into a Community vote, which will last 2 weeks.

I totally agree with you, with your affirmations! A rule is a rule and must be respected, and there is the punishment, and that an apology is in order, although I have been accused unjustly, we did everyday and it's not like that, but I want to reiterate that this rule must be improved. In my opinion, the ban is overkill against cheaters really with hack, a punishment is more than enough! An example; Valerus, reported by me, has been lifted the ban, having seen what he's done, maybe you won't do it again, but the fact remains that his crime hurts the whole community, mine is irrelevant in comparison, but it's water under the bridge, if you have made that decision You'll take responsibility. On the battlefield there are watching. We hope everyone comes in your understanding and good job for this community in evolution if well-conducted!

If Valerrus would be Cheating, he would not stand a Chance to get back onto our Servers. Give us a clean Example of his Cheating. And he would be gone in Lightspeed. I watched his Youtubevideos and could not find anything. Just saying. I think he is good, but correct me if im wrong. Give me clean Evidence and i will perm Ban him by myself.
