Ok the red/green banner on-top is clickable, very nice. So, it appears that
BF2Hub Client cannot autodetect your BF2 installation. Is it the Steam Version?
It is very important that you locate the folder on your Windows Machine where the BF2.exe file is.
After you have done this, go back to the
BF2Hub Client, head to the
Basic Settings menu: under
Battlefield 2 Installation Directory you want to press the
Choose button, which will bring up and explorer pane where you can browse your Computer. From there you want to navigate to the folder where
BF2.exe is, select it and click
Ok on the navigation pane.
After you have done this, chances are the
Battlefield 2 on this Computer banner will turn from red to green; don't know about the
BF2 Directory one. Actually not, it should be the contrary.
You can click on those banners, if you click on the
Battlefield 2 on this Computer it will open a new popup window where it will tell you if your Battlefield 2 (and Special Forces) game clients have been patched (id est if they are
"BF2Hub-ready").
If they're not, you simply want to click on the
Patch Selected button, it should then say "Patched" and the banner should turn green when you close this popup window. Let us know the outcome of these instructions,
Orangeman!!
