Princess_Unicorn : -If you only copy the text you have actually only the text (without blue background). Unless you take a screenshot.

Glossary: ninja'd
When a situation like this happens (when a user adds a reply that beats yours in terms of timing, especially if it's a matter of minutes or even seconds! ) we say that the user has ninja'd you. In this scenario Princess_Unicorn has ninja'd me, she gets a medal and a free kill during our next Special Forces match together. ahah
@ Jostotest since the chances you are referring to MS Word are pretty high, here's a GIF that sums up the first half of the article I have linked earlier (which I still invite you to check out. As with Discord, when it comes to MS Office Microsoft has a very wide range of support articles published at https://support.office.com/ ).

Dear Jostotest,
for these type of support request visit the Support board and then pick the correct topic in which to post your thread. In this case I will /move this thread under Website, on your next reply.
Actually after re-reading your post it sounds like you're having trouble with MS Word maybe? When you copy some content from a website, some additional data known as formatting will be carried over as well. As a consequence, when you paste that content into an application that can read the formatting informations as well, the app will try to adhere to those informations (thus maintaining the blue background for example, the bold and italic parts of the text and so on).
Do let us know what software you are using in order to receive the data and print it, so that we can assist further. If it is MS Word, tell us what version of MS Office you have (2007, 2013, 2016); although reading the first half of this support page should clear your doubts regarding pasting with and without formatting.

At odd times, I wish to copy and paste text from the forum ( rules/ changes) and print them out for filing/future reference. But the background Blue colour stays ??. wasting ink.
