That's the thing! You're not actually on the login page unfortunately. What tricks you and confuses you is the fact that those e-mail and password you're submitting are actually for a new account registration!
(because, as is stated in one of your pictures, you're using an "unclaimed" account = temporary account that is not tied to any e-mail and password). I have tested it all on another PC, on Google Chrome ... here's what you have to do.
On Chrome go to this webpage, it's the direct link to our Discord Server, specifically the #civilian-checkpoint
. It is likely that Chrome will pick up the "unclaimed" account you have created on that PC, and you will land either here
If you land on the latter page, simply click on that almost-invisible Skip Setup
link (it's on the left of the white "Register Your Account ➜
" button), and you should be redirected to the former landing page. Now, from there go to the settings
(accessible through the gear icon on the bottom-left corner, next to your username) and click Log Out
You will be finally redirected to the login page (https://discordapp.com/login
). From there you want to submit the e-mail and Discord password that you wrote down just shy of a week ago when you claimed your first account (jostotest#9706), and boom you're set!
You have to replicate these simple steps on the other PC too and you'll be good to go. Discord may ask you to fill a google recaptcha
for additional safety, don't worry about it and go through it. To close Discord simply close the Google Chrome tab: it's advised you don't log out from Discord so that jumping back on board will be easy as eating pie
(I never log out myself so ... ).
I suggest you don't bookmark the https://discordapp.com/
website because it adds a pointless extra-step (you need to click on the small rounded "Login" - other times labeled "Open" - button on the top-right corner. Instead make sure you bookmark our #civilian-checkpoint
; this way you'll land directly on our Discord Server, pronto!
After a couple days Chrome will start to remember you prefer to visit that web address, and simply writing "dis" in the address bar will make that address fill out for you, so that you have to just press Enter and the website will load (that's how I do it
). If I may, I would also suggest you let Google Chrome store your Discord password, in case you have to submit it again in some months or so and you have forgotten it!
In the end it might be ideal if you also
bookmark the clean https://discordapp.com/login
page, so that you'll have yet another safe starting-point if things go haywire (which they won't but, you know, fish memory
Kind regards and hope to chat with you soon!
