Seatswitching is not the way the game was meant to be played, they fuck the game up for everyone, you cant have a good tank battle or a good fight over the most important flag with a seatswitcher on the server, no matter what team they are on.
I have had some time to think about your problem lately, and I have come to the conclusion that you do not have an issue with seatswitching itself, you have a problem with choppers!
Seatswitching is just part of the picture, but ultimately it's the chopper that is causing you some distress; and I get it, believe me I get nailed down too.
The chopper is the only vehicle in the whole game with weaponry that is a guaranteed 1-shot kill
against other vehicles, no other weapon or vehicle in this game is so powerful (besides maybe C4). So naturally in the right hands this vehicle can be deadly: like you say,
rinse and repeat, no other outcome is possible unless:
A) the team
really works as one, using the ground assets available and their skills, to take him down,
B) there is an equally skilled chopper pilot in your team, that can keep the enemy chopper busy.
Moreover here is why seatswitching is not the real problem (and by all means with that term we mean manually switching seats, switching to TV, shooting and aiming; if you need a macro for that well it's pretty disappointing), I'll show some examples. When you are in the tank, doesn't it happen that you switch to turret for more visibility? When you are in APC, has it ever happened you that you needed to clear your side with machine gun?
And even more common, if you are driving a car and you see an infantry group, what do you do? You get out of the car, go in the rear, re-enter
and then switch to gunner position, to fire the machine gun on top of the car?
This isn't a military simulation, it's a video game, and quite arcade if I may say so myself. So the pilot moving to the gunner position, in any vehicle, is nothing out of the ordinary; that's how the game works: F2 = gunner.
TL;DR you have a problem with who can shoot TV missles at you, not with seatswitchers.
