AIX days are LONGGGGGGGGGGGG Over with ..But I feel for you I started playing BF2 About the time AIX was dead / kind like how BF2 is now with pop. I just wish They get an AIX WAKE up with 64 players again ..

Been trying out AIX 2.0 online...sometimes I do see up to 6-7 people playing coop. What is the minimod? Is that a separate thingy?

Tried PR, but just like the ARMA series, I prefer more kills happening within a shorter period of time because I don't have the luxury of playing more then 30 minutes (usually less), hence why I'm less keen.
If I want realistic-ish physics, I play Insurgency -> roughly same physics, but since maps are smaller, kills happen more frequently.

I have played in the last days a lot AIX. Its good to chill Easy Kills

With the 1.5 Patch it was not possible to have mag-sizes over 9999 shots.
So when you haven't patched the AIX2.0 mod (link 1) you cannot fly helis, the game will crash because the helis have more than 9999 shots.
Another way is to install the minimod (link 2). It will patch the mag-size but as well puts other weapons and vehicles to it.
For example, there is a zoomable MG for the heligunner in the Apache - with 'nightvision'. There is a driveable artillery and the Cobra has heatseeking missiles etc.
Give it a try, it will be a different mod to the AIX2.0, so you can play both.

I love any jet which has the MOAB and ofcourse the Warzenschwein/Warthoag
Fire and forget the MOAB. Don't care about teamkills. Rage hard.

AIX is the(!) mod for running singleplayer stable too on 64 player+ maps with bots driving helis/jets etc.
BF2 Vanilla gives you 16 players/bots on a 16 players-map. You have to install a mod for more bots/greeater maps too.
