If you have the option to mod anything you could try making jets and helis fly faster.

the map is HUUUUGE, it feels like you are only flying half speed.

Thus, one is much closer to a realistic flight: In terms of distance and maneuver, the vanilla maps are a complete fantasy and have nothing to do with reality.

Yes, you are right, dogfighting is the same as other maps, its just the distance that makes it feel different.

It was an overreaction on my part, when you fly towards a mountain it takes twice as long to get there as a normal map because of the scale.
Thus it feels like you are only flying half speed.
I was thinking "how can we have a dogfight flying this slow" but when you ignore the scenery and just concentrate on the other jets it feels normal again.
It feels exactly like that video of the jet pilot flying round the fjords.

I had the same sensation when I first tried it, didn't take long to realise why but it did seem strange initially. Pick something far away to fly towards and it may take you longer than you expect to get there.

It does feel a lot like that video indeed.



Have been a bit busier than I expected, hence the late response. Now that I think about it that would have been a bit too short notice for it to have much chance of being successful.

Wow very cool how it turned out! It's much more dope this way, hooooly moly Cat you've done a great job as always. I don't understand why the J-10 burst out flames with basically half health points but oke.
