Not really gaming related, but I've been hang gliding with a world champion.

Wow, that looks like a lot of fun! And very beautiful where you are flying!

Nice !
So, is it strange to see your country from the sky?
Or, you were so scared that you did not see anything, eyes closed?

Well despite a rough start I had a lot of fun, oddly enough I was very chilled about it ... perhaps I tried to literally kill the fear and hesitation so much that it partially affected how I felt during the flight as well. But no, definitely eyes wide open and looking everywhere, left right top bottom!
It was indeed quite an experience to be able to see the places I usually drive by with a car, from such a height and while flying a hang glider. The funniest part was when he'd actually let me pilot it and teach me how it works, how we would land and so forth. All in all it was a good experience, the flight was short (15 minutes) but we hang out for 2 hours and half overall.
Now that I think about it, it's not very far fetched from your own mountain maps, Cataly!
Thank you for the comments, much appreciated.

With pleasure:
but yes, in laveno, you have mountains a little similar, although the reliefs are less accentuated than on my side (Rovereto-Trentino): it made me happy to see you well, in flight, because every year that we go on holiday, in my area, I often see whirling deltaplanes around the mountains: but you are the first who tells us his experience: very nice !!

Yes, those would be *actual* mountains.
The ones in Laveno should be better classified as hills.
Cheers!
