Did anybody ever play Lord of Ultima? It was a really fun EA game, free to play but you could pay for upgrades to achieve more / be better faster.
Lord of Ultima was a free-to-play, browser-based, massively multiplayer real-time strategy (MMORTS) video game by Electronic Arts. The game started a beta test on April 20, 2010 and was developed by EA Phenomic.While it is, technically, part of the Ultima series of games, there was very little actual connection to the other games in the series.
The game was a 2D strategy game similar to Evony. Though the game was nominally free, players could purchase "Funds" for real-world money, providing the game with its revenue stream. The "Funds" could be used for three types of enhancements: improved user-interface features through the purchase of "ministers" which reduce micro-management of resources; "artifacts" which provide increased resources and can speed completion of commands; and protection from player attacks.
The game used pure JavaScript Web technology, and was not based on Adobe Flash, unlike many other browser-based games.
Anyway, I was part of a winning team called Post_Ascension on one of the worlds and there were some funny members / leaders so myself and a very good mate from University decided to create this video.
Most of the script was written by me (apart from the bit about Age of Empires and I tried to pick similar sounding words for the spoken German language as well as syncing up what was actually happening in the video). You may not understand some of the inside jokes & LOU terms but hopefully you may find some parts quite funny - True Dat.
For your reference there were two main leaders: Henkytin who was a very strict man from Finland and took everything
very seriously and Glitchsta who was American and the total opposite, was often out partying on drugs but leading the world in terms of points/score/castles/achievements/team play etc because he was ready right at the start of this particular LOU world and knew how to play already. Superpinky was also a good player in our team.
33 = Continent 33 (one of the many islands in the LOU world)

The_Plague = A strange noob team who we let become our allies near the end of the game to help them win in #2 place
shitlord117 = sithlord117, another player on a rival team who we decided to rename for the purposes of this video
dhmc = A rival team
rex = Rexterra, a very smart guy who founded Post_Ascension but couldn't stick around for the whole game, he returned towards the end when we won. He created the best/most advanced strategy for the game, writing guides etc and set us up with the winning tactics from the start
