I was also close to buying that headset you got, 5tarline. If it wasn't for that mediocre mic tho :/
saw some reviews of it on youtube an everything except the mic seemed promising. It's probably robust and stuff, but the sound quaity itself is just not up to par for what I want.

Myself, I got the remainings of my Razer Blackshark headset for sound and a Blue Snowball as mic. The blackshark got prob the best sounding mic I've heard from a headset so far, but it just died a few months ago, and didn't feel like buying an entire new headset just because of a broken mic. The sound is just fine as well.

I still need the right mic stand for my mic to bring the sound I want, so it's not a complete setup yet.

Well you haven't heard me on Ventrilo yet with the new Mic so maybe you will change your mind when I'm back in January. I never saw any bad reviews about the microphone and the few people I have spoken to with it didn't have any complaints

Hopefully better than that terrible laptop mic you used last time ;P
