Hello Everyone

Your servers appear to have banned me! When I try to connect, I get, "You have failed to connect. Please check your network and ..." BTW, because I am from Iran, I must use a VPN all the time! Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to use 80% of websites or even log into BF2 in the first place! I played for about two or three weeks, and now I can't connect to the server! Any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

PS: Sorry! I do not know why it sent twice! I cannot delete one of them!

Don't worry, I've deleted the other thread. Both WW and LS kick for VPN usage.
Unfortunately, most of the times, it's used by bad actors.

You need to request a whitelist, if you want to play.
What is your account in the game?

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding! It gets so crazy and difficult to access the internet here (in Iran)! The government implemented a new filtering system, rendering many VPNs inoperable!

So, to get in touch with Weekend Warriors, the only way is to join their Discord server.

Or, perhaps, since you may have trouble to follow up in there (given your internet problems);
maybe I can let them know you are having this problem, and point them here, just this time.

Since it takes a while for you to reply, perhaps a Forum topic is more appropriate than an instant-messaging app.

Unfortunately I have the exact same problem and I can't join any of the LS servers because I live in Iran. I would be glad if you do the "whitelist" thing on my one and only bf2hub account "miauuuu" as well so I can join the servers often. Thanks in advance.
PS:We are not the same person . I made my account on this site something like a year ago with the un1corn username. It's somewhat of a sweet coincidence to see someone else from my country who also loves unicorns.

I don't see kicks or blocks that should prevent you to join from Iran.
Are you using a VPN service too? I need to know its IP for the whitelist.

I actually don't use a VPN these days. Kind of seems like my ip was in the banned ip ranges because i live in a busy city, there might have been a cheater around here. Anyway I don't know what you (or an other admin) has done but this afternoon I could see all LS servers on the list unlike before and joined wake island server and played two rounds without any problems. Everything seems fine for now, thanks so much.

Well it could be, I am sorry to say it guys, but the two of you are the first "legit" (I hope ) Iranian players that I come across. So far it has only been problems from that country, and there aren't a lot of players so... it feels that there's only bad apples coming from there, but I'm sure somewhere there are some legit ones too.

I know that in Iran the standard internet is sort of iffy, and that's why (normal) people want to use VPNs, to improve the speed and connection quality; perhaps that's why you could not reach the servers correctly (I haven't done anything). If there's a problem, write in this topic; thank you and take care Un1corn.

Well I should say despite the fact that I love my country and its people from deepness of my heart, I'm not surprised about what you just said in the first paragraph. There are many legit Iranian people I see on bf2 community daily. And yes there are a few dead brain little fuckers ruining the reputation of this 85 million+ country. Well unfortunately education here sucks and not everyone gets the chance to learn English and proper behavior on the internet.
About the connection... Our government loves fingering the internet, blocking tons of sites and apps and basically limiting citizens as much as they can. Of course it's a god damn third world dictatorship, even so now that the issue has magically got fixed, I'll count it as a blessing and play often.
