Probably the same issue from previous players that have encountered this error but I have tried all the given procedures but none of 'em worked for me.

Things that I have done so far:
Adjusting game res, adding custom res to my system, launching bf2 in safe mode, deleting and editing con files in documents, adding launch command line in bf2 shortcut.

I was able to run Project Reality tho

And yes I got the game here too.

tell us a bit more about your system, if you're able to run PR you should not have any issue with BF2.
