It is with heartfelt thanks that I say hello. I was a huge fan of BF2 with all the trimmings as well as some really great mods in the day. I still have most of them too. I have a 30-year career in the Australian Army that ended in 2010, with me being medically discharged with severe PTSD and a few other bits with holes and breaks. It was around 2006 that I lost all interest in doing any of my hobbies or games, but never understood what the cause was. Now after eleven years of treatment and medication I am slowly taking interest in some of the things I used to do, probably because I am not able to do as much physically as I did before. LoL what took me one hour before now takes me half a day, so working on the car is a planned exercise for the weekend haha! I hadn't planned to play online as I was only looking for single-player versions, but things change and you end up doing it differently anyway. I still have my discs for BF2, but I just cannot get them to run no matter what I try.
