I can't configure joy2key to spot while flying.
Can someone help in getting it set up.
Or maybe suggest an alternative software.

Whilst you nailed the board, you also nailed quite the nieche topic right there.
I have asked in our Discord if somebody is able to give some information on the configuration.

Could you give some more details on what you are struggling with, in the configuration? You cannot perform spotting with the joystick after configuring the button on it, or you are having trouble configuring the spotting button?

you have to choose one joystick button, right click, edit button assignment, keyboard basic simulation, left first field Q, field below it left click, save. it should now spot

I use JoytoKey (not joy2key)
Very good software for just this purpose.
