Hi,

I can not see the lost-soldiers.org servers in server list. I've also tried to connect directly on the SF server IP but I couldn't.

Searching the forum I found a thread that had a similar issue and the result was that the user was banned.

So, I'm not sure if I'm banned or not. If yes, I suspect it was due to redlining in SF server the previous week, but I'm not sure. What I remember is that I had joined an SF server randomly (I was alone on the server) to obtain two SF badges (Grappling Hook Specialist and Zip Line Specialist) and I was in ghost city map. During this game I got a helicopter and flied (I think also shoot) over the red base. To be honest I didn't see the rules and I remember getting an ingame warning about redlining, after that I didn't get over the red base again.

By the way, I thought that SF servers were dead (this is why I got in to get these two badges before the remaining ones close forever), however during the weekend I've realized that there were people still playing on them (through BF2HUB servers list) in the lost-soldiers.org server but I couldn't connect. So, if I'm banned, I would be happy to get unbanned and play with you on these SF maps.

Thank you!

Nickname Glaros isn't seen since 2019 and has 1 hour on our server, so which Special Forces server did you actually join last week? Pretty much like the topic you linked, this is due to your compatriots giving us a load of problems with cheating ... I think you didn't join our server at all, like you say in the beginning you cannot see it.

So, it is an IP ban, do I get this right? That's sad. unhappy

Is there any chance to remove this ban or it will stay "forever"?

PS I guess the server I joined the last week is one of the rest SF in BF2Hub.

It's very sad that cheaters exist in this game, yes quite sad. Unfortunately due to the nature of your network it would be quite a pain in the ass to let you through, and given the amount of trouble some countryman of yours (or even you, since we don't have means to verify your identity) has given us in the past years the ban can not be lifted.

These people are actually still active so unless you manage to get a static ip address from your ISP company or use a VPN that will always give you the same public ip address there is not much that I can do. To be fair though I am operating under the assumption that your address will change over time, because you actually have the same company of the cheaters we've already dealt with.

Unfortunately it is not possible to get a static IP. I'll explore the VPN solution. Thank you!

Let me know, if you end up finding one that suits you; I'll be able to whitelist that one.
