Is it nessesary to have the total ban on fighting commanders?
There is many who dont play commander because they are not alowed to fight at all.
Yes I agree that it might be that the focus of the commander need to do his job 100% is reduced, but isnt it better than no commander at all?
Yes I agree that it should not be commanders flying or in tanks, but supporting and defending others attacking flags.
I have seen that it gives a team a big disadvantage when one team have commander and the other team dont.

It s not that important but I just want to ask...

Commanders are allowed to defend flags but shouldn't be attacking, commanders are also allowed to use tanks to defend.

Can that rule be bent a little when there are less then 18 people total on a server (9 on each side) ? It would make a better game from playing both ways with & without that rule.

There are too many other things to do currently than modifying the AutoAdmin script for this. The point of this rule is to prevent commanders from playing for themselves to get kills, i.e. Placing a UAV over their head and attacking enemies at a nearby flag. It's also a pretty lame advantage to be a commander, know exactly where every enemy is and go around shooting them in the back because they are blind.

I will tell you the following though:
- It's the one rule which we do not heavily enforce - unless a commander is pushing up on the front-foot at the tip of the offensive / attacking all round (non-defensive kills & capping flags)

People I've played with from WW Know how to do it for the team work not for themselves, I am glade to here this Because I and now others can do both Fight and command for the team to win..(only under 20 I will not be kicked/ban if we stay out of the aircraft of any kind ???? It did and now does make those low pop. game good/better.. So if I come begging to be reinstated I can say I told you here first! Please if you read this STAY OUT of the air craft of any kind not to bend the Adim's the wrong way.

You're fine so long as you are mainly defending flags as commander, your teammates should be providing the main offensive. If you want to move up with them and provide rearguard support that is fine.

We actually need to test this fully but as far as I know, Commanders should be ok to use transport choppers like Blackhawks and the Z-8 so long as they are not killing with them.

Other than that it's up to the AutoAdmin / [LS] Members to decide. If a commander is attacking the whole round, flag to flag and mainly using his Scanner / UAV to get himself kills then it won't be tolerated.

Not the way I remember playing with the few that are now on this server.. WE be good !!!!

So to sum it up.
Beeing supporting commander that not fly and attacks, and can defend flags with everything is ok as long he do his job for the team..
