Hello, all. I downloaded the game not too long ago, and I have a couple or more questions about the game.

First off, how do I turn off the constant radio chatter? It is actually driving me nuts and I can't really focus on gameplay. Second, why do most, if not all, weapons have hip spread when aiming? Isn't aiming supposed to remove that?

Hello Pyreflyes and welcome to our Forum boards.

Regarding the first inquiry, unfortunately it is not possible to turn it down without sacrificing the gun sounds as well. A good work around would be to avoid servers full of people that spam the spotting, even when it's not necessary; or commanders that spot 10 units in 1 second, for the full round. amused

You can get pretty good commanding on our servers, you will see that you can win the round without having a ear bleed, spotting the enemy units that need attention is your winning horse, not spotting the whole enemy team at any moment and become fairly annoying. Although, you will learn to cope with it in the future and it will not stress you as much, guaranteed; you just need to get accustomed to it really.

Regarding the second inquiry, again I am afraid that's how the game really works ... the deviation is off the charts and aiming down sights will not always improve that, often times hipfiring will be more accurate. The point is that you cannot spray your guns, never: that will lead to terrible results in terms of hitting the target. It's best to fire one shot at a time, you can try to stay in hip-fire mode too for most medium-close encounters. Aim down sight when you need to focus on a distant target, and always tap firing!

Hope this helps, you're not alone! smile

Although generally correct there are definitely times when spraying can work. For example if you are CQ and run into a few players, spraying/burst spraying an AK can keep you alive and kill several opponents quickly - just make sure you hit necks/heads!
