Hey guys, personally I play a lot of war games and my favourite franchise of them is battlefield. I own 5 battlefield games. Battlefield 1942, battlefield 2, battlefield 4, battlefield hardline and battlefield 1. I've been playing these games for a couple of years and I have really enjoyed playing them. Which battlefield games have you ever played and what is your favourite one?

Well I have played Battlefield Play4Free (that's where I get my profile picture from) and Battlefield 2 after that (because BFP4F got shut down, Italy hitman72ita and Australia Th3_D0ct0r_Wh0 are friends of mine from that time (2012-2014ish), I'll ask them if they fancy to submit a reply here).

As far as the Battlefields that I "own" go, I got Battlefield 3 when it was "on the house" (for free), but I've never really tried it despite being a very solid title. You can find my accounts here: shark.lost-soldiers.org#videogames. Oh, that reminds me, we used to host a Battlefield Bad Company 2 Server so I purchased it on Origin and played it with England StarLine a few times, I consider it to be the perfect mix between realism and arcade; they just hit that sweetspot in my opinion with that title and we are all hoping to see the third installment in the future!!

Kind regards,

Hey harry,

I started off with Play4Free - a game that was easily playable on even the cheapest graphics cards (I had a GT220, then that died and my dad replaced it with a GeForce 210 - because the staff at the computer shop said it would have similar performance - which didn't even have a fan and couldn't run P4F at the same resolution/graphics settings). Then I moved onto Battlefield 3 (also got it for free) but I could only play on Noshahr Canals deathmatch because that was a tiny map which was the only one playable, but that was ok because I really like that game mode and CQ battle. Once I upgraded to a GTX 1050, I played more maps, and then eventually I went to Battlefield 4 (it took me a while to start playing it) but that would have to be my favourite out of the 3 that i've played.

However, I was never a really part of a clan/team in BF3 or BF4, but in P4F I was part of Excessive Mayhem. There's still a platoon, but it looks pretty dead now (though I haven't been on Teamspeak since short after P4F died). We had a lot of fun in EM, and the noob bashing was great smile BF3 and BF4 had much more serious/skilled players it seemed.

(I just logged into Battlelog for the first time in months and opened Spotify and the song that came up was one that I had only listened to because it was in a Battlefield montage smile and I have 38 unopened Battlepacks smile)

I started off with Battlefield Vietnam and as soon as BF2 was released i moved on to that.
Battlefield Vietnam had a psi-ops thing where you could blast out music from a selection when you drove a vehicle and the other players on the server could also hear it (when you heard "ride of the valkyries" you knew there was a huey coming with gattling guns blazing and you were probably going to die ), or you could upload your own mp3 to play which other players heard when they came near you.
Mine was "run through the jungle" by CCR.
I still think this was a great feature which i've never seen on any game since.
I think i put up some links to the music which plays when the maps are loading somewhere in this forum some years ago.
Some versions of Battlefield get too counter strikey or just try too hard and i always end up back at BF2. Well duh.
