Hi all,
Thanks for continuing to support this game. I'm so happy I've been able to play BF2 again after all these years.
I have a couple of questions that would make things a little easier for me. I understand though that if these can't be changed then it's no problem but I thought there's no harm in asking.
My first is, is it possible to hold right mouse button for aiming down the sights? Currently it's toggled and this is a little awkward. I thought I remember holding for ADS when I originally played but maybe I'm mis-remembering.
Second is to set a bind for toggle to sprint? I know double tapping W toggles sprint but wondered if there was a way to change this to it's own key? My pinky would thank you.
Finally, I usually have my crouch set to left shift. When I try to change this is says it cannot be set as there is a duplicate bind in the helicopter options but I cannot find any bind for it.
Thanks in advance for any help
Rich

The game doesn't allow hold-to-ads natively, so imagine the poor people who wanted to play this with a joystick! For joystick I seem to recall there should be some form of mystical macro somewhere on the interwebs that should do this; not sure if it actually exists and what it would do to the mouse.
You can sprint with Maiusc (left shift I believe), should be default. There is a key bind in the controls for sprinting. Ah, yeah, that would be why you cannot change crouch! Left shift is sprinting!
The setting is 3 entries below crouch, change it to free the bind to left shift so you can use it to crouch!
Welcome Rich, we hope that you have fun in our Community.
Kind regards, Staff Officer
