I installed the game following the millitary base stickied. But when i open the game the background video behind the Single player/Multyplayer option run for one second and then freezes. But i can still move the cursor fine and the music keep going. When i click on any of the two option nothing happen. Unless i do alt+tab and then come back to the game then it will have clicked and led me to the next window (Create Account when i click Multiplayer). I then see the background video run for one second and then it freezes again

I'm having a similar problem with another game. That one it doesn't happen unless i go to my desktop and come back. If i launch the game and play without ever switching to my desktop it doesn't happen but if i do it does the same thing as with bf2. I'll do a fresh install of windows and see if it'll fix it

All good now! Only thing now is it doesn't let me create an account. I enter my info and when i click on create account i get: Registration is disabled for now - please check back again later

BF2Hub is currently in maintenance mode, so I guess this means they disable new account registrations. Yeah if you click on the red banner up-top, you will get to the maintenance page where you can read about the limitations, including account registration. Regarding your former problem, a couple of questions.

Well, first of all actually congratulations for nailing the correct Forum board, yaaay! Secondly what is your Operating System and are you by any chance playing in Windowed Mode? Whilst the background video shouldn't block, in Windowed Mode sometimes the buttons' clickable area is like offset from the actual button that you see on screen. That's why you want to either be aware of this or play in fullscreen mode.

All seems fine now thanks. Im getting some lag though but i guess it must be like that for everyone?

hmmm, define 'lag' man, no it's not for everyone. Are you in America? Our servers are hosted in Frankfurt, Germany; so your ping will not be the best and you may experience some lags every now and then. Instead if it's 'frame drops' that you are referring to, that's another problem that relates to how your PC handles the rendering of the game.
