Hi, I'm an old vet of BF2 who is just now returning to the game after a long break. Having found this site, I wanted to give the game another whirl and downloaded it from here.

The installation went without a hitch, but when I try to start the game; I just get a black screen and the game just closes without any error message. I tried googling it but I couldn't find any relevant answers. Any help would be appreciated.

My computer is running Windows 10,btw.

I'm sorry that I didn't dig around more before posting here. The problem was with my video driver not supporting the 800x600 resolution. Creating a new custom resolution solved the problem. Hope to see you guys on the battlefield.
