The avatar is used to display your membership level to the community. Of which there are 4. Enlisted Soldiers, Rangers, Officers & Staff Officers.

Soldiers who enlist on the site will have a green crosshair by default like you see on the Lost-Soldiers logo above. I just haven't created the image yet... Then it will be bronze, silver & gold.

Which is reminding me how much more I have to do to get this website where it needs to be... Laugh More designing, more coding, more Photoshop work and loads of things to fix...

Cheers,

5tarLine

Spot on, it's a Whitewalker

Where did you get yours from? I thought I had seen it somewhere like on Steam or something... Or at least part of it (the face).

How to run a browser as an administrator?

Was wondering why you sent that then realised it shows you at the top.

Yeah it's my most famous post on the old Battlefield Play4Free Forums, because the Players had to run their web browsers as Administrators in order to update/launch the game, so you can't imagine the bazillion times that question got asked in the Forum. Laugh

So I have backed it up and uploaded it on Dropbox; it was part of a project that involved loading all the resources of that webpage on Dropbox, and editing the HTML page to point to said resources, in order to make it look like it was a normal website. I paused it eventually, as you can see there are lots of images that don't point to the correct URL.

I think your name starts with S, rather than M. http://www.lost-soldie...hp?site=profile&id=21

One thing, having a bit of trouble resizing avatar pic, to fit, would be nice if the site did it for you.?.

You are right, it would be smiling

Unfortunately, this is easier said than done and not that many sites actually support auto-resizing.

Upload your image here: www.postimage.org

When you are done send me the direct link and I will resize it for you OK
