Hi all,

It is nice to see that BF2 is still going strong after all these years and GS shutting down on us. To me BF2 is hands down the best fps I have ever played AND enjoyed. I have about 1600 hrs into the game, most of which I accumulated during my teen years when the game was still fresh news.

Life went on, I got into the working life, a relationship, my then desktop pc had a hard drive failure. I left the gaming world for a few years and when I returned, BF3 was free to play and BF4 was mainstream. I never really liked BF4, sure it was nice but something was missing. Do you know that feeling of enjoyment when you play BF2? That's what was missing.

Back then Revive was still going and I put in a few hrs when I could, but had to leave the gaming world once again. Yesterday I googled if BF2 was still around, and damn, here we are. Got to love what the community has done!

Anyways, I am a 27 years young finnish dude, who is studying mech. engineering for the 3rd year. Forgot what else I should mention. Oh, a "guy" (?) called Sharpie_93 (?) (Thr guy from milan) referred me to LS and wanted me to give him a shout out, thanks buddy!

and the pleasure, of course! no doubt because it is war, yes, but without the blood, nor the horrible cries, nor the despair;
Bf2, it's only the childish vision, so soft; not like in the more recent versions of battlefield, which personally disgusts me!
