I am so happy to finally be able to play Battlefield 2. I have spent years trying to connect with Battlefield and have failed until now. I am very happy with the entire Lost Soldiers organization. It turned out to be a You Tube video that walked me through how to sign up with Lost Soldiers, download the game, get connected, and start playing. I used to play Battlefield 2 years and years ago, and my skills are rusty, so I am practicing in the Single Player arena. I have connected to one server, played a little, lost my connection, (could have been a mistake on my part) and am looking forward to playing online soon. I need to get my skills up a little bit first, no one would want me on their team at this point. I have gone through all my control settings an have things working well. My logging on is quicker than the old days, and that is most welcome. I am very interested in the name Lost Soldier for this site. My mother's brother sent the flag up Iwo Jima, it was his men that raised the flag, and he sent the second flag up also. He was killed on Iwo 9 days later. So, Lost Soldier means a lot to me. I am so happy to be able to play this game again, I have already donated and will donate more. Thank you Everyone responsible for putting this together. I am so very appreciative of the work. |
