I installed bf2 through this last saturday, it worked for the day and I had lots of fun. The day after and for the rest of the week when I tried to join any server, it would say that I could not connect to the server, and the second time trying it would crash the game. I have reinstalled the game, restarted the computer, all the basic stuff, and nothing has worked. |

I am having a similar problem as well. I can play offline with no issues when I try to join a multiplayer server it crashes to desktop immediately. I have this game installed on an old laptop and it works fine. This a new pc im trying to play with and it feels like some security setting is preventing me from joining a game server although i get no error messages. Thanks for any advice. |

I dont know how it got resolved but it did by re installing the game again .. |

hello everyone, i have same problem i installed bf2 from this lost-soldiers / forum / military base , and when i run it at last they want number for bf2 and bf2 special force A four-digit number so i skip it and install bf2hub when i log in and join online server i got crush to desktop .. maybe problem cuz i skipped 4 numbers ? |

You must have a key installed to play. You can install it again, just overwriting existing install. It should then run Battlefield 2 Key Manager again. Make sure to click "Random" a couple times. Then click "Apply" to actually use the key shown. Or you can find the battlefield2 Key Manager keyman.exe from here https://github.com/art567/bf2keyman/releases |
