Battlefield 2 • How do you get your old unlocks back?

My friends and I have recently downloaded BF2 through Lost Soldiers. Some of us ended up with unlocks from the previous versions, and some did not. This included people who created brand new soldiers. Any advice on how to get your previous unlocks back? Thanks!

Unlocks are bound to the account; some of you managed to reclaim an old account, others didn't.

That's the weird part. Two of us got unlocks when making new accounts. It's all good. I'm just thrilled that we can play BF2 again! Thanks for the quick reply. Happy New Year!

I retreived my old account but had no unlocks. I played a few games then they all came back pretty quickly.

That's correct, actually a user on BF2Hub Discord explained the same situation (exFarmBoy from USA), I remember seeing this from time to time and apparently it's possible that the information on what unlocks you had selected at the time did not transition over ... so when you recover your old account it does not have any unlocks: you will receive the necessary unlock points on your next rank-up (though keep in mind for tier-2 unlocks you need the Veteran Combat Badge of that specific kit, as explained here: bf2hub.com/unlocks

Boohoohoo for my Tier 21 account ***1st.Derrex***. smile When will i get my next unlock then. Hehe i am just kidding, i retrieved the account some mid last year just to see if it is still here and haven't played ever since.
