Battlefield 2 • Trying to setup controls

Hello all. Just installed battlefield 2 after probably 10 years. I used to use a joystick to control the planes, but these days I have an Xbox 360 controller hooked up and have been using it for a few weeks on Battlefield 1942. It works except that when I try to setup the left stick for up/down, roll left/right, it lets me enter up/down, but when I try to set left and right on the left stick to roll left/right, it says duplicate key. It thinks up/down and left/right are joystick axis 1. I checked on BF1942 and up/down is axis 1 and left/right is axis 0. Is there a config file somewhere in the BF2 folder where I can maually type in Joystick 0 ?? I looked, but couldn't find it.

Nevermind, figured it out: reset controls and tried again.

Hello RPGreg2600 and welcome, thank you for letting us know how you solved your issue.
The file that you were looking for is called Controls.con and it's located in your Profile folder, under Documents\Battlefield 2.
