I'm a big fan of Flume at the moment. Went to see him live the other week, he was outstanding and his sounds are unique & original. I am massively into music and was for a long time learning music production and I am still a good DJ. Who knows, I might pick it back up again at some point. I like pretty much everything apart from some shitty/annoying pop songs & heavy metal/gothic music as it's just a lot of noise and shouting to me. Another big favourite atm, feel-good choon: Felix Jaehn feat. Lost Frequencies & Linying - Eagle Eyes (Lucas & Steve Remix) Enjoy  How can you not like Flume.. Original catchy basslines and just awesome melodic choons. Listen to Sleepless and tell me you don't feel some rhythm in your body and urge to move a little. So you are Level 2? Well I like Alternative, New School EDM, Indie Rock, Classic Rock and some Folk songs. Dubstep is ok and there are a few decent choons out there but a hell of a lot of it is very repetitive and there doesn't seem to be enough "special parts to the songs" - i.e. that favourite 30 seconds where the choon hits perfection and gives you an eargasm...I'm not a fan of Metal, my ears find it a bit depressive and negative and I don't know what Post-Hardcore is but it doesn't sound like something I would like. Just realised some of my videos were no longer working in the first post of this topic, updated. Loving this mate. Chilled with a nice slow bassline.  BlackEmperor Disturbed - Land Of Confusion - Not something I'd usually listen to but I must admit this is quite catchy and it's not depressive, I quite like it. Disturbed - The Sound Of Silence - Again not a style I would usually listen to. However, it's a really interesting & unique piece of music and I can appreciate the quality of it. The lead vocal has an excellent voice as well. Disturbed - Immortalised - Meh not for me. I refuse to spell it with a Z as well being from England (I'm not even sure 'Immortalized' is correct in US English.Disturbed - Warrior - Could be good for a frag-movie I think but not something I'd listen to regularly. I wouldn't recommend listening to music while you play BF2 unless you want to die a lot more. Sound is important! Disturbed - inside The Fire - Yeah this one isn't for me. The Doors - Riders On A Storm - Nice, I like this and never heard before. Thanks for sharing The Doors - People Are Strange - A bit slow for me and bouncy. For slower songs I tend to prefer smooth sounding music. The Doors - Light My Fire - A Great Classic, have heard it many times before of course but never knew the band/never looked it up. Queen - Well yes. I'm English so of course I know them but I would expect most nationalities do. I don't listen to them regularly, don't even have them in my music collection which is a couple of TB as it includes a lot of lossless (.flac). But I don't need to, the music is so famous and popular you hear it all the time everywhere.. Weddings, Parties, TV, Radio, Films and I do actually really like some of their songs, you can't deny the genius behind their music and the quality. The Pretty Reckless - Heaven Knows - Have heard this before but didn't know it's name. Not bad, could grow on me, not sure. The Pretty Reckless - Cry - Not for me, found it a little dull. The Pretty Reckless - Going To Hell - Also not my thing. I know why you like them, the girl. Nirvana - Well aware of Nirvana and used to listen to Smells Like Teen Spirit a lot, not sure on any of the other songs but doesn't sound like I missed too much. You Know You're Right sounds ok though. So many layers of toggles OMG! Yeah I know System Of A Down. I'd be surprised if someone my age hasn't heard Chop Suey before. It's a catchy song. Not fussed on the other System Of A Down songs and one didn't work, it's just a white box... Pink Floyd - Yep, also fantastic like Queen in terms of quality. Godspeed You! Black Emperor - The Dead Flag Blues - Now I know where you got your name from! Wow this is a long piece of music. I Like some of the melodic parts but I don't really "get it" as a piece of music. No offence! Mogwai - I'm Jim Morrison, I'm Dead - I think if at any point I want to put some nice headphones on and completely block out the world around me this would be perfect! Can't stand Rammstein but I understand why their music is catchy to people who like that genre. I have no idea about adding colour to a spoiler. Took me a while to read/listen throught this thread I do like the idea of exchanging music here, found some good new tunes ... I can just agree with you according to Flume, such a good type of music (I dont even know how to call it) I dunno what you guys think of this, just givin it a try. Found these in one of these auto-assembled Song Radios on Spotify (actually pretty usefull to find new music) Thoughts? At the moment im mostly into Jumo and Odesza and Flume, just music like this haha By the way i tried putting the links in these Tags but when i previewed it, it gave me and error not able to play the video so i removed them again. Any tips on how to do this properly ? Edit: Found the awnser myself, thanks to 5tarline explaining everything here Hopefully i didnt fuck this up now ... |

Glad you like Flume Funnily enough I have been listening to Odesza for a few years now too, went to see them live last year as well Best Odesza choon by far - Total Eargasm: Unfortunately the live version of this was nowhere near as good as this recorded/produced version and nobody seemed to know it apart from me and my group One thing is for sure, most of the music I post is nowhere near as good to listen to unless you have top quality speakers/headphones with great bass! The songs you shared are decent Clint, they didn't blow me away but Jumo sounds interesting and like Flume's style is being copied somewhat. Well, I wouldnt say id listen to this at home or when im walking down the street BUT i definitly think id enjoy Don Diablo when dancing or on a live event or anything like that. Another thing: I guess you already know the stuff Flume did with Hermitude, such good choones! Theyre music is also really enjoyable. You can find some smoother sounds like that one: Just didnt want them guys unmentioned ... Give it a try f u like. |

I quite like that Hold On song you posted, it's decent. When it comes to Alabama though, Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama & Freebird would be my preference Second time I've posted this but it was lost on the early pages & deserves a bump. It's by no means great that's for sure, it's fairly simple and repetitive and considering it's being overplayed here on the Radio it's going to get boring pretty quick I think but I have heard a lot worse than this too. Again, if we all had the same tastes life would be a lot duller. For example, I think ABBA is utter garbage and can't stand any of their music at all whereas a shit load of people love them... Okay, i have to post this ! The thread is "what are you listening to right now" and i just found this one and i think its great ! I started off down an old trail listening to Gotye again "somebody that i used to know" and then re-watching some videos of Kimbra who i like a lot, very good performer in her own right. And i saw in the comments somebody likened her to Imogen Heap so i looked for some videos of her and it turns out she is also a performance artist who for the last 5 years or so has been perfecting gloves to take the place of her synthesisers on stage. Some good videos there. Now that they are almost perfect she has open sourced the technology so that other performers can use them. Stay around for the second song. Another house/electro beauty: Obviously if you're not much of a dancer McSlaine, which is seemingly becoming more and more apparent, Electronic Dance Music might not be your thing, to be fair though I like to listen to EDM at other times too, not just when raving. As I said before, you should open your mind to other music, you seem to have a narrow group of genres when there is so much other good music you're missing out on. Trying to sound like a musical elitist and saying things like "shortcomings" when you really have no idea who you're talking to and what my own musical background or skills are is not really very impressive. Equally, there hasn't been a single thing you've posted which I would add to my 600GB+ FLAC Collection or desire to listen to again... I never comment if I don't like something someone has posted or played me because I respect people's right to listen to what they like, it doesn't change the fact that I might think it's garbage. I just try to educate them with better notes for their ears to enjoy and largely throughout my life, it has been appreciated. For the record, I've never given a fuck what random people may or may not think about my taste in music, but I give even less of a fuck if I perceive that person to have poor taste themselves! On the subject of radio, The german radio must be the worst in the world. The vast majority of stations refuse to play anything exept chart music and then only the top 10 or 20 or songs that have been there in the past. You can travel from Hamburg to München and never hear anything else. But as soon as you get over the border into Holland or Belgium there is the exact opposite, dedicated stations that play blues or jazz, Rock or Reggae, just look and you shall find. I just recently bought the jabra earbuds elite 75t. damn boii the sound quality is top noch! feels like being in a cinema with surroundsystem.. bass etc. is really enjoyable so whatever you listen is awesome on these ;D |

Do you use them for gaming too? I used to handle a Jabra speaker at work some years ago for conference calls.
