hi all, What do you think about unlocking all weapons for new players? until that ranking-bs gets fixed. new players would have another reason to play on unranked servers and maybe wont care too much about stats/ranked servers if they already have their toys. |

I think that considered where we stand today as a gaming community, that's a valid point. Why enforce something that you cannot achieve - as of now - on our servers. This may actually force players to play elsewhere in order to get said "toys". Moved to Community Discussion. As I've had no time to play lately I had forgotten that this may be an issue following Spencer's War Crimes against our Servers. There's no reason why we shouldn't unlock all Weapons for everyone now so thanks for reminding us. LOL!  ahah War crimes made me laugh, ahah.We are Unranked now, we can basically do whatever the hell we want with our Servers. We can run HD vanilla maps, we can have bots I guess (but wouldn't risk it ), unlocks, scripts, damage mods, map mods, whatever, you name it. A modded server would be cooool, maximum damage on weapons to make it more lifelike. Yeah. A long time ago (pull up a sandbag) i used to sometimes play on a modded server that gave the SRAW round the same speed as a sniper rifle so that you could shoot down jets and helis with no problem at all and the trigger radius of a landmine was massive, mostly you blew up because you got too close to a mine that was round the corner of a building. It was lots and lots and lots of fun, used to play with a permanent grin on my face, i'm not saying go that far but increased damage on weapons would be good. Or just go all out and tweak the hell out of everything, i have no idea how much time and effort it takes to change the maps on a server, would it be possible to run a modded map on one day of the week? have a modded day ? You've misunderstood what I meant there... Believe me, I have zero concern or worry for anything the children running Battlelog decide to throw at us after what has already happened, we will be moving on at the earliest opportunity. My point is that to actually enable all weapon unlocks whilst we remain on the Battlelog network; whether we are unranked or not, is not necessarily possible. It's not something I've investigated much but I haven't seen any quick-fixes for this and as far as I know it's controlled by the Master Server which is of course, Battlelog's. Same reason you see your official Battlelog Rank when you play in our Servers. We're still hooked up to them, even if we're no longer sending Stats.
