I suggested Shark a SF event. The idea would be only inf in any case. but we could also only sniper eg. do.
Maps would have suggested Warlord, Ghost Town, Night Flight and Mass destruction.
Possibly. as a small map surge and devils.
I would be glad about a feedback and ideas.

I can tell which one of the three options is the same real one. wink Anyways, Roxxy, this is really a good idea and I think we are going to do this. But to do it right, I need feedback from the Community!!

For example, should the Commander be enabled, limited to a minimum players threshold (as it is now, 24 players), or completely disabled for this Infantry-only event?

Perhaps enable Commander only if we get to 48/48, which I really hope at some point.

What are the options? 1 round - 60 minutes, 2 rounds - 60 minutes, 2 rounds - 45 minutes?

When we suppose to do an Sf inf only event, I think it would be nice to take all the settings the Ls inf only server has and transpose them to the Sf server for that event.
So then we're having the proper Inf setting, meaning smaller maps and significantly shorter rounds. Whats you'r opinion on that ? I think it could be worth a try.

Yes it's not a bad idea, that is why we are disabling commander and I picked the rotation with smaller player sizes: sometimes the size of the map is the same but there are less flags.

Other than that, the Infantry Server actually has 45 minutes rounds, 1 round per map. For the moment the poll is giving a 1 round-60 min result, let's see when we have more votes.

No other settings come to mind. The no-clay on flag rule will still apply by the way. @GRULLO Engineers only seems pretty limiting: without vehicles their special weapon (AT Mine) is useless.

At the very least in Battlefield Play4Free you could blow then up and kill Infantry within the blast (and blow claymores too).

Is the amount of tickeds connected to map size ? If I remember correctly the inf server is running on 16 player maps with 150 tickets for each side.
Thats what i meant with settings, having everything in an inf format.

Interesting question, but I'm afraid that's not the case. On the Infantry Rotation server the ticket ratio is set to 100% (vanilla) and the tickets are usually 100-100 or 100-110. There are no other special settings that I could see, other than the Commander being limited to 26 players minimum.

How about a SF even where everyone plays special ops only?
But C4 cars would be discouraged, (that's mostly for selman) C4 kills would encouraged though, it would be fun to see people get mad by C4 spam but i suppose i would be the only one who'd find that fun.

Yes but the problem with this idea is that unless you stick C4 to your vehicle, how are you supposed to deliver the charge to the enemy? They surely aren't going to walk towards you are they? I don't understand this C4-only idea how it's supposed to work. :'D

I have something stored in a TXT file, but I just remembered an event was suggested (and maybe I didn't write it down) which is either Transport Chopper Battles or RHIB Battles! https://i.imgur.com/tPy04BY.png That one especially on Iron Gator since there are many; transport choppers, I don't know where off the top of my head.
