Report Cheaters / Problem PlayersOPEN: SANGUINARIO - Persistent Rule Breaking

In the second vid I only recorded shortly after dying, but it's still clear enough.

Baseraped me at least 4 times even after warnings. Doesn't seem to be a newbie, more like a second account from a more experienced player since his TV skills were on point.

In my opinion if you get warned for breaking the rules and you continue, a ban of at least one month is justified - but that's of course not my decision

Yes, the uncap airfield at Gulf of Oman is for some reason under constant attack by a lot players. I keep warning them, reporting using the "!r" command, but there's not much more I can do besides that and, of course, report the continuous rulebreakers to this forum.

Reporting each and every one of them would be impossible, so I try to keep it to a minimum to those who really push my buttons by breaking the rules at least 4-5 times.

It's sad to see that even kicking them doesn't scare them off...

A one hour ban power for rangers has been discussed before if I'm not mistaken, asked by Eyeless who is probably the most active admin on Gulf, but was denied by Star and Shark considering they already improved the "powers" of rangers.

For the moment we must think of other ways to impose the rules. Maybe there should be a more continous mention of rules in Oman, especially the no attacking MEC airfield? Or maybe just that rule in particular? Don't really know...

Anyways, thanks for the message, it's an annoying struggle, but I'm sure Star and Shark will figure something out smiling

Yeah, we're not going to be changing the privileges again anytime soon, at least I don't see any reason we would. Our coverage is continuously increasing and if a problem player keeps coming back it doesn't take much effort to type: "+k partial-player-name" - you can even type it whilst they are connecting a few times if you need to keep them out of the server for a while. Although they should be given a chance to improve their behaviour after the first kick as well.

This player SANGUINARIO needs to be properly warned with +w and kicked if he continues, then a Timeban if necessary.
