Thank you 5tarLine! The throttle worked well, but you didn't have to smash it up & down otherwise it would misalign with the keyboard. The throttle instead worked very well given that you'd use it gently, VERY gently.

So dogfighting with it was a bit difficult because you had to make smooth movements, otherwise it would partially come off the thumbstick and stop working properly.
Yeah I was pretty creative if you ask me!
